At Vayiz, our journey is deeply personal, rooted in the experiences of our Founder Shavayiz and Co-Founder Abdul.The journey began in response to a series of personal misdiagnoses affecting Shavayiz's closest family members. Over three years, Shavayiz's mother faced over ten incorrect diagnoses before correctly identifying an autoimmune disease. This ordeal was compounded by similar experiences with other close family members, each misdiagnosis bringing profound stress and unnecessary complications. Witnessing the toll of misdiagnosis firsthand, Shavayiz was propelled by a passion for leveraging technology for positive change. Meanwhile, Abdul's mother faced a similar ordeal with misdiagnosed symptoms of colon cancer, highlighting the devastating consequences of delayed diagnosis.These personal experiences became the catalyst for the creation of Vayiz. Before Vayiz, Shavayiz founded VeronicaAI, an AI-powered mental health platform that successfully achieved a multi six-figure exit. He also pioneered the creation of The Bracket™, North America’s first fully integrated issuer services market research platform, revolutionizing client engagement and operational efficiency at Generation IACP. Throughout his career, Shavayiz has built proprietary trading software at various hedge funds, specializing in quantitative trading strategies that consistently outperform market benchmarks. His work includes designing high-frequency trading algorithms, automated arbitrage systems, and quantitative analysis tools that have driven substantial revenue and improved risk management.
